How to Watch 2024 Memorial Tournament: TV Schedule, Live Streaming & More Explored

The PGA Tour moves to the Columbus suburbs once again! The 73 players’ field will be at the Muirfield Village Golf Club, with all of the top 10 PGA Tour pros teeing up. The Memorial Tournament has been a fixture on the tour, founded and hosted by the ‘Golden Bear’ Jack Nicklaus.

This year, the event is scheduled to start on June 6 and end on June 9. Although the Memorial Tournament boasts that “it’s better live,”  you can still enjoy the tournament live from the comfort of your home, either on television screens or streaming platforms!

How can fans watch the Memorial Tournament on television?

Two television channels will broadcast the 2024 Memorial Tournament, presented by Workday: Golf Channel, and CBS. The first and second rounds on Thursday and Friday will be televised from 2:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. on the Golf Channel. The Saturday and Sunday rounds will be between 12:30 p.m. and 2:30 p.m.

CBS will only be broadcasting the third and final rounds. It will be between 2:30 and 6:00 p.m. For streaming platforms, fans have three choices to choose from. Paramount+ will simulcast the CBS broadcast, whereas Peacock will stream the simulcast of Golf Channel for all four days.

The third platform streaming the Memorial Tournament is ESPN+, which will provide early coverage starting at 7:15 a.m. for the first two rounds. As per the PGA Tour, for the third and fourth rounds, the stream will start at 8:30 a.m., covering live from Muirfield Village, GC. The marquee group, featured groups, and featured holes will also be exclusively streamed on ESPN+, which can be found by searching PGA Tour Live.

The live audio of the Memorial Tournament can be heard on PGATour.com/liveaudio for free and on the PGA Tour Radio on SiriusXM. For the Thursday and Friday rounds, the live show will start at noon and end at 6:00 p.m. The last two rounds will be from 1:00 to 6:00 p.m. (all times EST). As the second-last signature event of the PGA Tour, the Memorial Tournament has a lot at stake.

What’s at stake at the Memorial Tournament?

Notably, the Memorial Tournament presented by Workday will have an identical prize purse of $20 million for all signature events. The winner of the event will get 18% and take home $3.6 million. Moreover, there will be 700 FedExCup points on the line as well. The Golden Bear’s event is one of the five events on the Tour with Invitational status.

The winner will also receive a two-year exemption through 2026 on the PGA Tour and guaranteed qualification in the 2025 Sentry, PLAYERS Championship, the Masters, and the PGA Championship. Indeed, a player will be bound to reach new heights if he wins the 2024 Memorial Tournament!
