Travis Kelce had a ball go rogue on the first hole of the American Century Championship on Friday.
The Kansas City Chiefs star hit a shot into the crowd and hit a fan, but Kelce made up for it. The tight end found the fan he hit and gave him a handshake as well as a kiss on the arm to apologize for the errant shot.

While Kelce’s shot might leave a bruise and some temporary pain, the fan getting the chance to have a funny interaction with him is a memory that will last a lifetime.
Kelce is participating in the American Century Championship, a celebrity golf tournament, along with many other stars this week. The tournament features NFL stars like Kelce, Aaron Rodgers, Josh Allen and more along with NBA players like Kyle Lowry, Austin Reaves and Seth Curry.
The field also includes sports legends like Charles Barkley, Ray Allen, John Elway and countless others. Comedians, actors and musicians are also participating this weekend.
Last year, Golden State Warriors star Steph Curry won against a talented field, but he’s unable to participate this year as he prepares for the upcoming Olympics in Paris. Travis Kelce finished in 71st place last year so he’ll be looking to improve his score this time around.
Kelce is playing alongside his brother and recently retired NFL legend Jason Kelce.

Kelce would have liked to avoid a slice into the crowd, but he’s got plenty of time to make up for it.
