American tennis legend Venus Williams has often been seen with Andrea Preti even before their relationship became public, and a recent photo of the pair has once again made headlines. The image, showing them seemingly on the courtside, came just days after they were spotted with close family in London, sparking speculation that they may have exchanged vows.
How Did Venus Williams and Andrea Preti Enjoy Their Recent Outing?
Multiple outlets reported that Williams and Preti celebrated a private wedding on the Italian island of Ischia. According to Italian media outlet Corriere della Sera, the cliffside ceremony offered panoramic views of the Tyrrhenian Sea and was followed by a Mediterranean-themed reception with classical music. The reports also suggest that the guests followed a Roma-themed dress code throughout the celebration.
Later, the couple was seen in a group photograph in London, seemingly surrounded by their close family. The image notably included Venus’ sister Serena Williams, the 23-time Grand Slam champion, and her daughter Olympia, adding a celebratory touch to the high-profile gathering.
However, it’s worth noting that while reports suggest the couple may have exchanged vows, neither have confirmed it. Days later, they were seen enjoying each other’s company at Italy’s Due Ponti Sporting Club, accompanied by Italian tennis player Federico Bove, seemingly after hitting the courts.

The couple first appeared in the public eye in 2024, photographed on the Amalfi Coast. They kept their relationship largely private until early 2025, when Venus sparked engagement speculation by wearing a ring on her left hand. The seven-time Major champion finally confirmed Preti’s support in July 2025 in a post-match interview with Rennae Stubbs.
An Instance of Preti’s Support for Williams
After an absence of nearly sixteen months, Williams returned to the North American hard-court swing, including the US Open. Despite a first-round exit, she shared in her press conference the intense and demanding training that preceded her home Grand Slam.
“Yeah, my team and I, we worked as hard and as fast as we could. We literally took no days off. I haven’t gone to dinner. I haven’t seen friends. I haven’t done anything except train for three months as hard as I could. From each match that I didn’t win, then I tried to go back and learn from that and then get better,” she said during her post-match press conference.
Williams’ commitment resonated with Preti, who supported her throughout the US Open, and even lauded her efforts and dedication she put into the event on his Instagram story. The Danish-born Italian actor began his career in modeling, and later learned acting at New York’s Susan Batson Studio.
