LG has shared fresh details about the UltraGear Evo 52G930B ahead of release later this year. Equipped with built-in speakers and USB Type-C connectivity, the 52-inch gaming monitor outputs at 5K2K with a 240 Hz refresh rate and 600 nits peak brightness.
Just over a fortnight has passed since LG unveiled the UltraGear Evo 52G930B. Shortly afterwards, the company brought the same monitor to CES 2026 in Las Vegas alongside a slew of other products. Subsequently, it has shared more details about the UltraGear Evo 52G930B before its presumed launch later this year as a larger option to existing 45-inch options like the UltraGear OLED 45GX950A (curr. $1,435 on Amazon).
For instance, LG has clarified that the UltraGear Evo 52G930B relies upon a VA panel rather than an IPS equivalent. Nonetheless, the 52-inch monitor promises to cover 95% of the DCI-P3 colour space coverage; LG has not revealed contrast ratios, viewing angles or black levels yet, though. Still, a VESA DisplayHDR 600 certification indicates that the UltraGear Evo 52G930B should offer an 8,000:1 static contrast ratio, 0.1 nit maximum black levels and 600 nits peak brightness.
Furthermore, LG has complemented its 5K2K (5,120 x 2,160) and 1000R monitor with 1 ms GtG response times. As the picture below shows, the UltraGear Evo 52G930B utilises DisplayPort 2.1 and USB Type-C connectivity with 90 W Power Delivery, as well as a pair of 10 W speakers. Unfortunately, pricing and availability remain unknown for now.
