Mercedes F1 reveals 2026 team kit as fans weigh in

Mercedes has unveiled its 2026 Formula 1 team kit ahead of its season launch on 22 January.

While the new adidas x Mercedes kit has largely retained its well-loved design in the brand colours, it now features a subtle engineered hexagon print all over. The full range, which is available today via the Mercedes and adidas websites, includes apparel, footwear and accessories.

Driver George Russell said of the new collection: “In this new adidas teamwear collection they’ve really put our team’s performance at the forefront of its design.

“For us, every detail matters, and what we wear is no exception. This kit allows me to stay sharp, focused, and perform at my peak, giving not only me but our team a crucial advantage as we push for both championships.”

Russell’s team-mate Andrea Kimi Antonelli added: “It’s amazing for me to work with a partner like adidas, who understands the need to innovate.

“As I look forward to taking a significant step up in my second season in F1, their commitment to optimising fit and function means I can step out onto the track feeling confident and ready to focus entirely on my performance and delivering results.”

Fans have been quick to have their say on the new teamwear. “This is not a want, this is a need,” one fan commented on Instagram, while another added: “Not too many changes to the tee design, but the reflective strips really highlight the prominent logo across the whole tee. Pretty good!!”

“Mercedes merch never disappoints,” wrote another fan, and another commented: “Stop with the cool merch, my wallet can’t handle it.”

While the majority of comments are positive, others were a little unsure. “idk [sic] what to feel about the hexagon,” one wrote, and someone else added: “It’s the same.”

Mercedes will unveil its 2026 F1 livery on 22 January.
