On Saturday, Sen. Cory Booker (D-NJ) spoke to about 4,000 California Democrats.
Richie Greenberg, a San Francisco-based political commentator and former GOP mayoral candidate, posted what happened at the end of Booker’s remarks when he saluted the crowd.

Now, as some on the X platform noted, let the hypocrisy begin.
That salute has not a penny’s worth of difference from the salute that Elon Musk made during inauguration events, which Democrats and many in liberal media painted as a Nazi salute. Maybe Elon was a little more enthusiastic, but that’s all. Can we now expect all those people to chastise Booker for his Nazi salute? Democrat rules. It didn’t matter that Elon said he was giving his heart to people as he did it, the left still excoriated him. They didn’t care about the obvious meaning. So I await with bated breath their condemnations of Booker. We know that they won’t be coming.
Newsweek did not call what Booker did an “apparent Nazi salute,” instead just talking about those on the right noting it and highlighting Booker’s multi-hour floor speech as something that “earned Booker goodwill.”

Elon Musk, of course, had a few thoughts on Booker’s actions, given that he was excoriated for the same thing: “Such hypocrites!!”
If this difference makes no sense, the answer is simple. The Democrats and their acolytes in the media have no core or consistency; the only thing that matters is what helps Democrats and their power. So Democrats are always right and Republicans are always wrong, no matter what the circumstances, even if their actions are the same.
This lie against Elon helped feed the cult hate and the attacks against Tesla. Democrats and the media should be ashamed if they had any shame left. But I think at this point, it’s safe to say they’re shameless.
Editor’s Note: The mainstream media continues to deflect, gaslight, spin, and lie.
