Kay Adams Has a Spicy Suggestion for the Vikings

Super Bowl pick.

Kay Adams is high on the Vikings, in general, and now she has an emphatic recommendation.

That alone turned heads, as prominent NFL analysts don’t usually pick the purple team for such glory.

But Adams is different, and in a separate conversation last week, she also recommended that the Vikings sign former Green Bay Packers cornerback Jaire Alexander, who is there for the taking on the open market.

Here are the details.

Kay Adams Recommends Jaire Alexander to the Vikings

On The Up and Adams Show last week, Adams discussed landing spots for Alexander, and with a climactic declaration, she rolled with Minnesota as her choice.

Adams urged.

“So much has gone on between him and Minnesota over the years. They need a corner. I talked to Vikings Coach Kevin O’Connell about that being maybe the only thing I don’t love right now, as far as keeping them from winning a Super Bowl. He gets a chance to play the Packers twice a year. I would love Jaire to stay in that division. You just got to join forces with Justin Jefferson and see how that goes.”

Vikings fans saw the recommendation — and obviously agreed. When a Pro Bowl cornerback hits the wire in his career’s prime, heads turn.

No Word Yet on Any Interest from Vikings in Jaire Alexander

When the Packers cut Alexander loose a week and a half ago, the veteran defensive back generated ample buzz. That’s how it goes when a formidable cornerback hits free agency, overall, and especially in June.

demonstrably decried that plan last weekend: “Jaire Alexander to Eagles makes too much sense, but it would lead to inevitable pain for Packers fans. Alexander signing with the Eagles is about as bad as it gets, save for perhaps the Vikings. Philadelphia would have successfully built the secondary that every Packers fan cried out for.”

“We were all there in 2024, pounding the table for the team to draft Cooper DeJean. Gutekunst passed in the first round, and the Eagles astutely traded ahead of the Packers to land him in the second. They also drafted Quinyon Mitchell, another prospect many hoped would end up in Green Bay. Mitchell and DeJean were among the five finalists for the NFL Defensive Rookie of the Year award.”

might be the frontrunners if the Vikings or Eagles don’t win the Alexander sweepstakes. The Washington Commanders and Las Vegas Raiders shouldn’t be ruled out either.
