Get ready for a season full of stunners. Here are seven bold NFL predictions for 2025 that could shake things up, from breakout stars to shocking developments.
And with the season so close you can taste it, we asked our customary panel of Minnesota Vikings fans to provide bold takes for the NFL — not just Minnesota — for 2025.

Carolina Panthers will win the NFC South. Bryce Young seems to have finally figured it out, and I think getting some key pieces back from injury on defense will turn them into a respectable team this year.
2. J.J. McCarthy Leads the NFL in TD-INT Ratio

J.J. McCarthy leads the league in TD:INT ratio, and finishes 2nd in MVP voting. Bonus: 46 TDs, 3 INTs.
3. Only Vikings Reach the Postseason from NFC North

Bills Mafia has been waiting for this. Doing what the Patriots couldn’t will make it even sweeter.
NFL.com’s Eric Edholm ranked the Bills as the NFL’s fourth-best team this week.
He explained, “Early camp has been littered with some pesky injuries, especially at receiver and in the secondary, with first-round CB Maxwell Hairston currently sidelined. The Bills probably can survive some of the WR injuries if Keon Coleman can stay healthy and make a big jump in Year 2, but that’s hardly a guarantee. Likewise, fellow second-year pro Cole Bishop could help improve the secondary with a level-up season.”
“Hairston’s knee sprain doesn’t appear too concerning, but it could lead to Tre’Davious White taking a starting gig early on. The Bills clearly are one of the best teams in football, led by reigning MVP Josh Allen, and winning the division again should be the obvious goal, but there are enough early worries to keep them in this spot. This team obviously has bigger aspirations, but it remains third in the AFC for now.”
