The Honor V series is expected to a new top model in February in the form of the V70 Elite, which is set to impress with a flagship Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 series processor, cameras with Zeiss lenses, and Sony sensors.

According to the latest information from leaker Yogesh Brar, the Vivo V70 series will be officially unveiled in February. The series is expected to include the Vivo V70 and the Vivo V70 Elite, which, according to information from SmartPrix, will primarily impress with its high performance. The mid-range smartphone is said to be powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 8s Gen 3, which features an ARM Cortex-X4 Prime core with boost clock speeds up to 3.0 GHz, four Cortex-A720 performance cores at 2.8 GHz, and three Cortex-A520 efficiency cores.

While this chip won’t allow the Vivo V70 Elite to keep pace with current flagship phones powered by the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5, the Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 offers performance comparable to last year’s flagship models. Vivo is expected to combine the chip with fast UFS 4.1 flash storage and LPDDR5x RAM. A “4D vibration engine” is expected to provide particularly accurate haptic feedback for gaming enthusiasts, while the ultrasonic fingerprint sensor will reportedly be invisibly integrated into the display.

The Vivo V70 Elite could well be based on the Vivo S50, so it will probably feature a 6.59-inch, 120 Hz AMOLED display, a 6,500 mAh battery with 90-watt fast charging and an IP69-certified, waterproof case. The camera system is said to be quite decent for a mid-range device, as Vivo is reportedly installing a 50 MP selfie camera, a 50 MP f/1.9 main camera, a 50 MP f/2.7 periscope telephoto camera, and an 8 MP f/2.2 ultra-wide-angle camera.
