One of the Jacksonville Jaguars’ division rivals has made a significant addition to their coaching staff.
Under new head coach Robert Saleh, the Tennessee Titans are reportedly going to hire Brian Daboll to be their offensive coordinator and play caller.
Now, this is contingent upon Daboll not getting the Las Vegas Raiders head coaching job, which he is still in the mix for.
Daboll was most recently the head coach of the New York Giants. During his three-plus years with the team, New York went 20-40-1.
In 2024, the Giants’ offense ranked 31st in points per game, averaging just 16.1, and they were 30th in yards per play.
This season, the Giants ranked 16th in points per game and 17th in yards per play — although Daboll only coached for 10 of those games.
Once it becomes official that Daboll is the new Titans’ offensive coordinator, at the top of his to-do list will be maximizing quarterback Cam Ward.
The Jaguars won both games last season against the Titans.
