Bewigged Rep. Shri Thanedar thought he zinged House Republicans on Wednesday. The Republican X account pointed out that every communist country erects walls. In response, the diminutive Democrat responded with a pic of President Donald Trump walking along our nation’s southern border wall. Thanedar’s failed zing only proved what a dingbat he is. Apparently, he doesn’t understand that walls can serve two purposes.
Many of us are old enough to remember President Ronald Reagan saying “Tear down this wall.” He was talking to his political counterpart in the communist Soviet Union. Why? They were using a wall to hold people captive.
No. The Soviet Union required exit visas for any departure, which were rarely granted except in limited cases like ethnic family reunification under external pressure. Unauthorized exit was illegal and often treated as treason. Restrictions held until a 1991 law just before the USSR collapsed. The Iron Curtain and Berlin Wall existed to prevent people from leaving.
Is this satire? You do realize he’s referring to communist countries trapping their own people like North Korea right. Trump wall is to keep 3rd worlders out.
This has to be one of the most mind boggling posts I’ve seen. There are either disabilities involved or just plain stupidity. This dude was elected to be in office??
Thanedar came up short in a recent Democrat primary. His last day in office is January 3, 2027. No wall will prevent him from leaving.
Editor’s Note: Thanks to President Trump, illegal immigration into our great country has virtually stopped. Despite the radical left’s lies, new legislation wasn’t needed to secure our border, just a new president.
