SCARSDALE, NY, April 29, 2025 /24-7PressRelease/ — Zach Horn has been selected for inclusion in Marquis Who’s Who. As in all Marquis Who’s Who biographical volumes, individuals profiled are selected on the basis of current reference value. Factors such as position, noteworthy accomplishments, visibility, and prominence in a field are all taken into account during the selection process.
With a career spanning over two decades, Mr. Horn is celebrated for his creative leadership in motion design, art direction, video production, and visual effects. Since 2024, he has served as a motion designer at Living Group, a full-service advertising agency specializing in financial clients. In this role, he contributed to the success of AllianceBernstein’s (AB) latest ETF campaign, which earned a 2025 Gramercy Institute Financial Marketing Strategy Award in the ‘Business-to-Multi-Target’ category. In the highly competitive U.S. ETF landscape—where differentiation is critical and audiences seek opportunity and flexibility—the campaign stood out by effectively delivering a compelling value proposition.
Previously, Mr. Horn played a pivotal role in the award-winning rebrand of the Sci-Fi Channel to SYFY. This bold, strategic transformation shifted the network’s identity from traditional science fiction to a broader spectrum encompassing science fiction and fantasy, appealing to a wider pop culture audience and signaling a new creative era.
From 2012 to 2018, Mr. Horn was a key creative force at NBC Sports, where he led major redesign initiatives for international events, including the Summer Olympics. His work earned him two Emmy Awards in 2012—one for “Outstanding Graphic Design” for the Triple Crown and another for “Outstanding Team Studio” during the Games of the XXX Olympiad.
He currently also serves as art director at Lord, Abbett & Co. LLC and has operated as an independent motion designer and editor since 2000. His freelance collaborations include top-tier clients such as EY, Sibling Rivalry, Significant Others, Transistor Studios, NO6, and Mechanism Digital. His reputation for developing bold visual narratives extends across industries and platforms.
Mr. Horn earned a Master of Fine Arts in character and experimental animation from the California Institute of the Arts in 2002, and a Bachelor of Fine Arts in film, animation, and video from the Rhode Island School of Design in 2000. He is also an Adobe Certified Expert.
His creative portfolio includes acclaimed documentary work, such as Zero Days (2016) and Going Clear: Scientology and the Prison of Belief (2015), both directed by Alex Gibney. Equally committed to civic engagement, Mr. Horn has completed pro bono design work for the United Nations and partnered with the Robin Hood Foundation during the COVID-19 pandemic to create public health messaging displayed on Times Square jumbotrons via WNBC. He also supports City Harvest and other public education efforts.
Outside the studio, Mr. Horn enjoys spending time with his family, traveling, and pursuing acrylic and encaustic painting. Looking ahead, he plans to open his own studio to mentor emerging designers and foster innovation within the motion design community.
