Before the curtain call during Saturday’s show, the NBC sketch comedy series flashed a brief tribute card on the screen featuring a past photo of O’Hara along with her name. The show also took to X, posting a photo of the tribute with her name followed by a heart emoji.

TMZ broke the story … O’Hara died Friday in Los Angeles after a brief illness. Emergency crews responded to her home that morning for breathing difficulties, and she was rushed to the hospital, where she later died.

The news sent shockwaves through Hollywood and the world. O’Hara, who’s best known for her unforgettable roles in “Schitt’s Creek,” “Home Alone,” “Beetlejuice” and more, had a career spanning over five decades and earned multiple awards, including Emmys and a Golden Globe.
