From now until the 2026 NFL Draft, we will scout and create profiles for as many prospects as possible, examining their strengths, weaknesses, and what they can bring to an NFL franchise. These players could be potential top-10 picks, all the way to Day 3 selections, and priority undrafted free agents. Today, a scouting report on Washington CB Ephesians Prysock.

Tape Breakdown
Winner of the all-name team for the NFL Draft and recent Steelers’ pre-draft visitor, Ephesians Prysock followed Jedd Fisch from Arizona to Washington for the past two seasons. On paper, most corners aren’t built like him. Standing at 6’3 with 33+” arms makes him unique, and his strong athletic testing makes him worth checking out all the more.
Prysock is physical and aggressive. A hitter and run supporter, there’s no question about his want-to or desire to mix it up.
In coverage, he uses his size well. He can pin and leverage the receiver to the sideline or close on slants and pry the ball loose.
Negatively, Prysock is raw and didn’t feel comfortable or confident. He’s late and often wrong with his eyes and inconsistent with his punch, and turns off the line.
Penalties stacked up throughout his career. He has trouble finding the ball at the catch point and doesn’t get his head around consistently enough. That leads to flags. It’s also reflected in a lack of turnovers with just two career interceptions.
Conclusion
Overall, Ephesians Prysock is a long and aggressive cornerback with traits and upside. But he feels raw and underdeveloped despite good coaching under the same head coach and quality playing experience. That makes him a project and hurts his ability to help on Day One.
Still, there are tools to work with for a team willing to be patient and invest in him. My NFL comp is Jaylen Watson, though that’s on the high-end of outcomes and is more reflective of style than anything else.
