This isn’t a basic phone top-up brick, but a battery that’s designed to keep laptops running when you’re nowhere near an outlet. The 100W USB-C output is one thing that makes this power bank stand out. That’s fast enough to charge a MacBook Pro to 50% in about half an hour, delivering close to what a USB wall adapter provides. Most power banks in this price range slow to a crawl the moment you plug in a laptop, so the Baseus Blade is the one you want for that.
And it has a 20,000mAh capacity, which is enough to juice up most 13-to-15-inch laptops by about 70% or more. That’s useful on long flights or packed days full of meetings and no time to find an outlet. It also has four total ports—two USB-C and two USB-A—so you can even use it to top up multiple phones and accessories as needed, provided you have enough USB cables on you for each one.
Two downsides to be aware of. First, it’s far from pocket-sized.
