HP has launched the OmniPad 12 in India. The Android tablet features a 12-inch 90Hz display, a six-core variant of the Snapdragon 6 Gen 3 chipset, and an included detachable keyboard.
HP has introduced the OmniPad 12 in India. It is an Android-powered tablet that comes with a detachable keyboard, with HP touting the device as offering a “laptop-like experience”.
Design and color options
The tablet measures 283 x 178.1 x 7.3 mm and weighs approximately 600g without the keyboard. It is available in Denim Blue and Meteor Silver colorways, both featuring a matte finish. The included detachable keyboard connects via pogo pins and features a full-size layout and an integrated HP Imagepad.
Key specifications
The OmniPad 12 features a 12-inch display with a resolution of 2,000 x 1,200 pixels and a 90Hz refresh rate. It is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 6 Gen 3 chipset (SM6475Q) that features six cores clocked at up to 2.40 GHz. The tablet features 8GB of LPDDR5 RAM and up to 256GB of storage.
The OmniPad 12 packs a 31Wh Li-ion polymer battery and ships with a 33W power adapter. The tablet has a 13MP rear camera and an 8MP front-facing camera.
Additional specifications include Wi-Fi 6E, Bluetooth 5.2, a USB-C port, a 3.5mm headphone jack, quad-speakers, and a microSD card reader. The device runs on the Android 16 operating system.
Pricing
The base variant features 8GB of RAM and 128GB of storage and is priced at INR 48,999 (~$514). The 8GB/256GB variant is priced at INR 54,999 (~$577).
