Designed by Foose, engineered by Fox, but what will it be? We won’t find out until SEMA.

Fox Factory Vehicles has established a solid presence in the modified-truck business—and not just the lifted trucks you’d expect, given that FFV’s parent company also owns Fox Racing Shox, as the firm also does lowered street trucks. FFV has primarily concentrated on mechanical upgrades, relying on aftermarket bolt-ons from other companies to handle styling upgrades. That’s about to change, and in a big way: Fox is collaborating directly with Chip Foose.
Chip Foose, to the few who don’t know of him, is an automotive designer, artist, and star of the show Overhaulin’. He has won the Ridler Award—one of the highest honors in the hot-rodding community—a record-setting four times, most recently with Impostor, a C6 Corvette wearing 1965 Impala clothes.
This new collaboration started as a chance conversation between Foose and FFV VP Rich Webber about who is currently making the best wheels. In a chat that Webber described as “spiraling,” the two soon found themselves talking about a potential FFV/Foose partnership.
Fox Factory Vehicles is quick to emphasize that this isn’t merely a licensing deal that involves putting the Foose name on FFV vehicles. Foose will be part of the creation process from the get-go, working together with Fox’s engineers. This should create an interesting synergy, as most of Foose’s vehicles are one-off creations; in contrast, this project will allow more enthusiasts to own a genuine Foose creation. For FFV, it’s an opportunity to develop a vehicle that maintains the company’s engineering integrity while delivering even more visual excitement.
What will the first collaboration be? Both Fox Factory Vehicles and Chip Foose are staying close-lipped. We know it will be a truck, but will it be lifted or lowered? FFV and Foose plan to reveal their creation at the 2026 SEMA show. We can’t wait—but like you, we’ll have to.
