Apple is reportedly planning a big launch week, and not just the launch of the MacBook Pro with an OLED touchscreen and a fresh design on Wednesday. New products are also set to be unveiled on both Monday and Tuesday, according to a reliable source.

Rumors have long suggested that Apple is planning a product launch on Wednesday, October 28. Since no invitations to a livestream have been sent out so far, however, the new products will likely only be announced via press release. According to Bloomberg editor Mark Gurman, Apple is likely to unveil new products on Monday and Tuesday as well.
Accordingly, the next-generation iPad mini ($559 on Amazon) is expected to be announced as early as today. The tablet reportedly will not get a new design, but is expected to receive an upgrade to a more modern processor and an OLED display, although conflicting rumors are circulating as to whether this screen will have a refresh rate of 60 Hz or 120 Hz. On Tuesday, October 27, a new Apple iMac and a 14-inch MacBook Pro are expected to be unveiled, each receiving an upgrade to the Apple M6 but otherwise offering few changes. Apple is reportedly saving the most exciting announcement for Wednesday, October 28.
That is when the long-awaited next-generation 14-inch and 16-inch MacBook Pro models are expected to be unveiled. The flagship laptop is reportedly still set to feature the Apple M5 Pro and M5 Max, but will get a new design with a slightly thinner, significantly lighter chassis and a Dynamic Island instead of a notch. Interestingly, Apple is expected to equip a Mac not only with an OLED panel for the first time, but even with a touchscreen. Whether this launch schedule is correct should become clear in just a few hours.
