Bouygues wins Immingham £170m import jetty job

The project, which will involve dredging and construction of a 1.2km jetty at the port, is believe to be worth around £170m.

The Immingham Green Energy Terminal project will set the site up to handle imported bulk liquid ammonia from Saudi Arabia, which will then be converted into hydrogen to fuel the green economy.

The terminal will also be used to import carbon dioxide to facilitate carbon capture storage.

It will be built on 100 acre site on the eastern side of the Port of Immingham.
