New Peachtree City Bike Racks Combine Function and Art Peachtree City Announces New Bike Racks to be Installed

Peachtree City is set to install new, colorful bike racks throughout the town that feature the city’s logo. These racks are not only visually appealing but also promote bike transportation, supporting a healthier, more sustainable lifestyle within the community.
Unveiled at a May 8 meeting during both National Bike Month and Bicycle Safety Month, the initiative received support from various local cycling groups and advocates, including Peachtree City BMX and Fayette Bike for Life.
“The new bike racks are beautiful and functional, truly a form of public art. I will be excited to see them installed throughout the city” said Mayor Kim Learnard
The newly established Transportation Advisory Group in Peachtree City will take the lead in identifying locations across town to install the racks- prioritizing safety and accessibility in doing so.
